Mountain View High School

The MVHS English department is dedicated to helping students become critical thinkers and better writers. Teachers provide students with a wide range of reading selections and teach them how to break down texts for meaning. Educators provide students with the opportunity to research, reflect, discuss, and analyze not only traditional literature but a varity of non-fiction essays, articles, and biographies. Our department is committed to helping students become critical thinkers who are prepared to face the challenges of developing technology. Staff encourages parents and students to stay in constant communication with the teachers about grades, assignments, and/or behavior concerns or questions.
